Darkside of the Moon

Day 1

It had only been a few days since fully joining the Army and with yet a job cabin fever was setting in. He had abandoned home to seek his fortune but his arrival had been too late to join in the routing of those damn pirates... Why did life have to start so slow? Guess he could be worse, could be dead or stuck on some backwater colony farming hydroponic tomatoes or something. That sounded like torture actually and his Gundam wouldn't have appreciated that one bit.

No he was meant to be free of the chains and make his money the way his parents did, by piloting a giant mecha for a paycheck. Being in uniform wouldn't settle him either, he was in the right place, just not the right time. So now he would stand on the open cockpit hatch staring off into space from his machine, dreaming of what was to come. Would he die a wretch death in the cold of space or would he carve out a name for himself? Only the fates could decide that and the fates had gifted him with his Gundam.

Looking up at his machine there was a sense of pride, no it wasn't the meanest looking thing and compared to his parents Val Varo it wasn't a threatening. But there was a subtle pride none the less. The feeling that he could conquer the stars wielding as many beam sabers as possible. The pride that came with being a Gundam pilot...

The problem was standing here on the Lunarscape felt empty. Where was he going to go next and who was he going to cross swords with?

Day 2

Ready to pack up his stuff a bit of information was passed to Kyle from a TriArms information broker. Rumor or fact he hadn't asked as anything was appreciated at this point said that there was a lot of action going on at Lagrange Point 1 and that a fellow pilot might get into some trouble out there. It wasn't an order per say but it seemed it might be a good idea if he headed for that point and see just what was going on out there. Seemed someone out there was getting ansty and having another friendly face there might be enough to help deter violence.

Kyle of course would take this as his chance to get some initiative and maybe some browning points if he did well so of course he would accept it. Little did he know but he might be biting off a bit more than he bargin for as his inexperience would prove to be a a lot lower than those others wandering the stars at this point. But a head full of steam and a bit of confidence meant he could not turn this chance down.

After priming the I-Field propulsion system for a go he would launch from the lunar surface with enough supplies to last him a week if needed. The Gundam's autopilot would kick in and now it was only a few days journey to his destination. What he might find there was up to the fates and that was fine by him.

"BEGINNING GUNDAM LAUNCHING!"
